Sabre Communications Corporation
New York, NY (May 16, 2006) – Corinthian Capital Partners of New York, NY has acquired Sabre Communications Corporation, LLC of Sioux City, IA. Sperry, Mitchell & Company, Inc. initiated this transaction, assisted in the negotiations and served as exclusive financial advisor to Sabre Communications Corporation.
Sabre Communications Corporation (www.sabrecom.com) is the leading designer and manufacturer of guyed and self-supporting towers and wireless monopoles for the communications industry, as well as transmission poles for the utility industry. Sabre was originally founded in 1977 by Mr. Bailey Aalfs to manufacture high-frequency antenna systems. As cellular phone usage grew in the 1990’s, Sabre began designing and fabricating towers for the wireless communication industry. Over the past few years, the Company has diversified its offerings to include utility poles, tower accessories, and construction services. With revenues of approximately $120 million, Sabre operates from two manufacturing sites: Sioux City, IA and Fort Worth, TX. Management participated in the acquisition of the Company from Mr. Aalfs.
Corinthian Capital Partners, LLC (www.corinthiancap.com) invests in niche companies in the manufacturing, distribution and service sectors. The firm was formed in 2005 by C.
