Mr. Sperry is Co-Founder and President of Sperry, Mitchell & Company. He also serves as Chairman of Percival Scientific, of Perry, Iowa, a leading manufacturer of biological incubators and plant growth chambers, and is on the Board of two other private companies. Mr. Sperry is Treasurer of a research and public policy institute, and is on the Boards of two other social service agencies. He also serves on the Leadership Council of the Organization of American Historians. As a third generation member of a family involved in a group of graphic arts companies, Mr. Sperry has direct experience in the many issues and complexities associated with managing and selling family-owned businesses. Mr. Sperry is a frequent lecturer and featured speaker at M&A seminars, industry conferences and trade functions, including the Association for Corporate Growth and the Young Presidents' Organization. In addition, Mr. Sperry has acted as an expert witness in several court jurisdictions, and as a mediator in commercial disputes. Mr. Sperry has also served on a State Department/USAID sponsored Economic Development Mission to Eastern Europe.
